I and then transferred to Chapman University. In the Spring of 1999, I lived and studied in Granada, Espana. I as well spent time traveling and studying literature in the British Isles. I received my Available'due south Degree in Spanish literature with a minor in English in 2000. After graduating from Chapman, I continued with my education by attending California Country Academy, Fullerton, where I obtained a Master of Arts in English and Comparative Literature with an emphasis is 20th Century Latin American and Chicano Literature. I began teaching at Cal State Fullerton in 2004, and I also taught courses at Santa Ana College, Santiago Canyon Higher, and Cal State LA.

Nearly me: Equally a i.5 generation Korean American, I learned English by devouring stories, beginning on television receiver then at the local library. Now that I am a professor at ELAC, I go on to read stories, thousands of them, written by the students in my classes. And while many of these are essays and research papers, they can be powerful and transformational stories nonetheless. One of my goals is to back up the growth and evolution of my students equally intellectuals, storytellers, and humanitarians.
Outside of ELAC, I enjoy writing, spending time with friends and family, and being in nature as much equally possible. My husband and I own 3 cats, and we love watching basketball games together. Most me: Equally the recipient of stellar academic counseling when I was a Puente student at Rio Hondo Higher (1996-97), I have e'er wanted to give back that passionate and quality guidance in some mode, and being an English language instructor has permitted me to do but that. About me: I love what I do. About Me: After earning my BA and briefly pedagogy in a secondary school, I transitioned to private industry, working in information engineering science and marketing until 1994. However, I didn't walk away from my dear of literature and theatre. I earned my MA, writing my thesis on Shakespeare, and then pursued further graduate report in performance and popular civilization, eventually moving to Los Angeles to conduct entertainment-related research. About me:My name is Daniel Lambert. I live in Inglewood, California with my wife (educator and poet Anhthao Bui). I began didactics English at East Los Angeles College in 2000. I am the Offshoot Representative to the English language Department. I am 1 of two Representatives from ELAC to the Los Angeles Faculty Guild'southward Adjunct Faculty Issues Committee.

About Me: I have taught at ELAC since the 1970s and have been an instructor in ESL for more than than forty years. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree from the University of Illinois, both in English Language and Literature, with further written report at UCLA.

My name is Diler Yuksel. I have been teaching ESL/EFL for over 7 years.
